When you delete documents or close your account, we delete or anonymize your data within 30 days, except where we're required to retain it by law.

- Encryption in transit (TLS 1.3) and at rest (AES-256)
- Per-workspace data isolation
- Role-based access control
- Regular security audits and penetration testing
- SOC 2 Type II compliance (in progress)
Enterprise Deployments
Enterprise customers may deploy Briefly Docs in their own private cloud (AWS, Azure, GCP) or on-premise infrastructure. In these deployments, your data never leaves your network and is subject to your organization's data governance policies.
Third-Party Services
We may use third-party services for analytics, payment processing, and customer support. These providers are bound by confidentiality agreements and data processing agreements.
Your Rights
Depending on your location, you may have rights to:
